Our web development process
We have been designing and developing bespoke websites for organisations for over 18 years. During this time, we have crafted and fine-tuned a tried and tested project process. We break our projects down into four stages - Discover, Define, Develop and Deploy. During a project, a dedicated project manager will lead you through these phases to determine the goals of your website, stakeholder requirements, brand values, design requirements, development, testing and much more.

Phase 1 - Discover
The discovery phase is when we identify the key requirements your system might need – from understanding core brand values and colours to establishing key objectives and system requirements.

We establish and present the architecture of your new website using the latest interactive tools. We want to gain feedback on the look, feel and user experiences. The project team will confirm with you the typeface, logos, layout and functionality, which will be outlined in a build plan.

Phase 3 - Develop
Our experienced development team set up and develop your new website, configuring it to the bespoke needs of your organisation. This includes building a development and staging version of your website for testing purposes.
- Set up. Your website will be developed to the highest coding standards by our in-house team. We will build three versions of your website – the live site, plus a development and staging version of your website. Any updates can then be tested, by our team and yours, before being made live.
- Front and backend build – We build bespoke page templates for all the core pages of your website. They will all be built to be mobile friendly as standard.
- Specific features & functionality. We will create all your web pages that require bespoke functionality as outlined in the functional specification.
Phase 4 - Deploy
Your website will be checked by our quality control team, your project manager and you. We will show you how to upload content and manage your website so you can test it. When everyone is happy with the website, it will be made live. Following the launch of your website, we will provide a 3-month warranty under which we will fix any technical issues discovered during this period at no additional cost.
