“Working with Alberon feels like a partnership”
In our latest blog post we interviewed Tim Walters, Principal Consultant at Agenda Consulting, discusses how they faced challenges with data accessibility and collaboration, which were impacting their ability to effectively support not-for-profit clients.
To address this, they partnered with Alberon to develop a custom SharePoint solution. Our team worked closely with Agenda Consulting to understand their unique needs and deliver a tailored, user-friendly platform that streamlined access to critical information and improved collaboration across their organisation.
How did we first meet Agenda Consulting?
Alberon was introduced to Agenda Consulting through a previous Alberon customer who referred us to them.
Initially, Agenda Consulting approached us with an ongoing support contract to maintain their current custom software stack. This wasn’t an issue for Alberon, as our team of experts are skilled in managing a wide range of custom and off-the-shelf software solutions.
What problems did the come to us with?
Every customer is different; they have different requirements and different use cases.
For Agenda Consulting, we first started by supporting their bespoke software stack as the original developer was retiring.
This started as simply supporting and hosting the stack, but as time went on and our relationship developed, we were able to help Agenda Consulting unlock new potentials with their current software stack, enabling them to become more efficient and secure at the same time.
What solutions did we implement?
Over the years we have implemented a vast array of different solutions for Agenda Consulting, below we discuss some of the projects we have worded om for them:
- Implementing a Single Sign-On Solution: By adopting a single sign-on (SSO) solution, we simplified their user access and ensure a more secure, seamless authentication process across multiple applications that Agenda Consulting use, saving time and improving efficacy and security across their ecosysterm.
- Enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Apps: We implemented a MFA system to work seamlessly with their pre existing software stack.
- Optimising the Current Tech Stack: This is always a big issue when it comes to legacy software that a majority of our customers will face; be it old legacy systems or large data sets, these systems can slow down users to a crawl. Optimising the current applications that they uses on a daily basis Alberon manages to save hundreds of work ours for each user each year.
- Report Generation: Another issue faced by Agenda Consulting was their reporting system. The legacy software would only produce template-based reports that in some cases could take up to 8 hours to run! Alberson not only introduced live reporting, but we also cut this time down to an instant.
- Enhancing Dashboard Reporting: We shifted Agenda Consulting away from from basic filter reporting to interactive dashboard reporting empowers their staff with intuitive, real-time visualisation tools that aid in faster, more informed decisions.
